Working in a startup feels like juggling ten jobs. No matter if you are the founder, marketing manager, lead developer or an intern. Endless hours, long meetings, investor emails, relationships broken, and it all builds up.

We have written the first comic/comedy book for entrepreneurs. It's packed satire, puns and humour. We've included many experiences from our own journey, and that of many other people to create something every entrepreneur can relate to.

We have secured a book printer that is ready to print hundreds of copies on a moments notice. We have printed a few test copies before our final print run.

The Origin Story

We have travelled to nine countries, interviewed dozens of entrepreneurs and have lived in London, Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Helsinki since. We’re deep in the startup scene, and have run our own or been a part of multiple startups.

We felt that a bit of comedy was needed in the scene.

The idea spawned a year ago when we were making bad jokes around startups, the jargon and how seriously people take things. The book has been gathering jokes and ideas ever since.

Iranthi is behind a lot of the situational humour and logistics of the book. Iranthi is a Sri Lankan entrepreneur, and with Jarkko has headed companies such as Inventshift, Wheelys Melbourne and ServiceHired.

Jarkko Oksanen

Jarkko is crafting the puns, and the comedy of the book, and creating drafts for the illustrations. Jarkko is of Finnish origin, and has an entrepreneur / software background.

Now in late 2017 we’ve enough material, and a bit of time to make this happen.
